Hi! I hope you are doing well! March was a sweet month coming off of the chaos of February. Life and ministry felt rhythmic and full in the best way. At the beginning of the month, I went on a sabbatical day with the other apprentices and one of our teachers, Mandy. We got to reset and spend some long, uninterrupted time with God and each other. Later in the month, Denton had some visitors from a partner ministry in Washington, then we had spring break, and a few new girls joined core!

Some of you may have heard me mention SICM, a Christian leadership conference that we send students to every year in Washington. Through the partnership with this ministry, we get the opportunity to host a group of their students during their spring break. They get to do outreach on our campuses and visit Texas, often for the first time! Casey and I planned all of the outreach events for them including things like shoe cleaning, spiritual listening, and relational outreach! On Tuesday night my roommates and I hosted them for a power point night- where they each present about a topic that they love- it was silly and fun! If anyone went over time they got shot with nerf guns until they sat down! On Friday, we took them to the Fort Worth stockyards and Bishop Arts district in Dallas to explore DFW some. I got to drive around 4 of the girls that day and get to know their stories and become friends with them. It was such a good week :)

Outside of CCF week, life and ministry has been pretty normal. We had a few new girls start coming to core and I am going to be starting FOJ (a one on one bible study) with one of them. We have been having a different girl plan and lead core with us each week, and I am continually blown away by how wonderful they all are. I could not be more thankful for this group that God has entrusted to me. In my free time, I’ve been training for a half marathon, I got to go to a baby shower for my sweet friend Kathryn, I got to go on a spring break trip, and on a double date with my bestie Jessica! Life is so good!
I am looking forward to the apprenticeship wrapping up while also grieving the change that I know will come with that. I will miss my fellow apprentices company in class every week, but at the same time am excited for all the time I will have to spend with students next year. Would you all be praying for all of the transitions that come with this time of year, for all the students from our ministry that will be traveling to Washington for SICM soon, and for us all to finish well in classes and work this semester! As always, love you all and I am so thankful for your partnership that allows me to do what I do.
Love, Hannah
